Staying at Chautauqua NY campgrounds, you can experience fun festivals and events unique to the Chautauqua-Allegheny region like the 35th Annual World Series of Cars (7/22) where anywhere from 350 – 400 show cars will be on display. Special attractions at this event include trucks, firetrucks, sports cars, RC racing, antique cars and more.
This summer, if you choose to go Lake Chautauqua camping, you get the chance to experience the Chautauqua County Fair (7/16-22). This family-family event has been attracting visitors for 134 years. Farming, food and fun make this event perfect for people of all ages!
A perfect event for the kids is the 43rd Annual Great Wellsville Balloon Rally (7/20-22), where over 40 colorful hot air balloons take flight from Island Park and fill the sky in a delightful rainbow of bright, vivid colors. The Main Street Festival will begin on that Saturday at 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., featuring different vendors, crafts, activities, music and more!
