Camp New York!
April 6, 2020 - COVID-19 and camping in New York: In March 2020, Governor Cuomo issued the "New York State on PAUSE" Executive Order, a 10-point policy outlining "Essential Businesses" in New York State that can operate under guidance and directives for maintaining a clean and safe work environment issued by the NYS Dept. of Health and Executive Orders. We're pleased to share that independently operated campgrounds are included as "other accommodations" under Essential Infrastructure. Park operators have been working to prepare for and comply with any local, state and federal mandates related to social distancing and cleanliness at their businesses, so they may focus on providing safe accommodations. Please check with your selected RV park or campground to find out what restrictions/prohibitions are in place for amenities and services, as well as any possible adjusted opening dates mandated by their counties and local health departments.
